One of the afternoons I went diving off a boat just outside the inner reef off Avana Marina. It was amazing! There were so many shapes, sizes and colours of coral; it was like looking at a garden of flowers in full bloom.

Rarotonga Airport - Awaiting the Boeing 747 Rarotonga is a fantastic place to chill out, relax, layback and soak up the sunshine. The weather was absolutely beautiful, the island gorgeous and both the locals and backpackers friendly. It's the only place I've visited where the availability of (fresh) bread is dependent on the arrival of flour on the monthly ship and the weekly landing of a Boeing 747 becomes a pilgrimage!
